State v. A.H. (Hennepin County 2017)

The client was charged with felony Check Forgery and Theft by Swindle. Working with another attorney, we attacked the traffic stop that led to the client’s arrest. We convinced the judge that the police had no legal reason to stop the client’s car. The judge suppressed all the evidence against the client, and the charges were dismissed. What’s more, the co-defendant in the case, who had already pleaded guilty, then asked the court to withdraw his plea so he could argue the same issue. He had his charges dismissed as well.
